BSBD Varna- Dobrugea Littoral Constanta project focuses on specific areas of interest , based on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), that have been identified as:

- Implementation of the Water Framework Directive(WFD)
- GIS
- Costal erosion and corrosion;
- Integrated costal zone management;
- Administrative framework (organization of the River  Basin authority)
