Promoting twinning between basins to reinforce practices of Integrated Water Resource Management

The 2 nd Call for proposals is now launched to support Twinning agreements for motivated Basin Organisations. TwinBasin project can support these twinnings by co-financing experts' mobility (plane tickets and per diem).

July 31 st 2005 is the deadline to submit proposals to TwinBasin Project.

Main steps to gain support from TwinBasin are:

1. Both  candidate Basin Organisations should sign the MoU-Memorandum of Understanding. All the information is available on TwinBasin website (twinbasin.org).

ü Download MoU agreement : fill up and sign this document which can be sent to us by electronic way, by fax or by mail.

2. Basin Organisations requiring support need to establish a "twinning agreement" matching with ”Project Twinning recommendations”

3. Basin Organisations can submit theirs proposals of missions ,  through the document called "Request for TWINBASIN support".

ü In order to be eligible, proposals should be coherent with ”Project mobility rules".
